Please read these terms carefully before booking a ceremony or using our website. They outline what you can expect from us and what we ask of you in return.
South Coast Ceremonies provides coordination for secular vow renewals, symbolic unions, and personalized ceremonies along the south coast. This includes drafting ceremony scripts, suggesting locations, and advising on protocol, music, and readings. We do not perform legal marriages or issue marriage certificates.
Once you confirm a date and we agree on the scope of your ceremony, we will send a written summary of what is included. If you need to change the date, location, or number of guests, please let us know as early as possible. We will do our best to accommodate reasonable adjustments, but availability may be limited during peak seasons.
You are responsible for providing accurate information about your ceremony, including guest count, location preferences, and any cultural or personal elements you want included. If you request a specific beach or garden venue, please confirm access and any permits with the property owner or local authority. We can advise, but final permission rests with the venue.
Because many ceremonies take place outdoors, weather can affect the plan. We will monitor conditions and suggest a backup time or sheltered spot when needed. We cannot guarantee specific weather, and we are not responsible for disruptions caused by natural conditions beyond our control.
Our role is limited to ceremony coordination and scripting. We are not liable for injuries, property damage, or losses that occur at venues we recommend or during events we help organize. You are responsible for the safety and conduct of your guests, and for arranging any additional services such as catering, photography, or rentals directly with those providers.
If you need to cancel your ceremony, please notify us in writing as soon as possible. We will confirm receipt and discuss any applicable terms based on how far in advance the cancellation happens. For ceremonies already drafted or coordinated, we may retain a portion of the fee to cover work completed.
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. The current version will always be available on this page. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
